A 93 automatic geo storm won't shift right after starting up. If you let it warm up for about 15 - 20 it will start shifting into first and then badly from there up till it's been driven for a bit?

Perhaps Transmission Fluid is not at proper level or is dirty and it and filter needs to be changed
