Locate the cable under the hood. You find it on the right side of the engine compartment. Loosen the two nuts holding the cable in place. Loosen the lock run. Turn the adjustment nut until the deflection in the middle of the throttle cable is between 1 and 3 millimeters.
The throttle cable is not adjustable.
There is no adjustment on the throttle cable.
To adjust the throttle cable, first open the hood of the car and locate the cable. Then, adjust the screws on either side of the cable. Following that, tighten the cable so that it is taut and there is no slack, but it is not over tight.
It's not adjustable.
kickdown cable. it connects to the linkage on the carb's throttle. as the throttle goes in the kickdown goes out.
You can't adjust the TPS, but there is a way to adjust the idle if thats what you want. Right next to the brake master is the throttle cable and with your fingers spin the black plastic nut on the cable to desired rpm.
The T V cable is a "Throttle Valve" cable and is located by the throttle body and is part of the throttle and can be adjusted by simply pushing on the adjustment part of the TV....by adjusting the cable it will affect the shift points of your trans.
There's an adjustment nut on the hand grip for the throttle cable. Back it out to make the throttle tighter, and screw it in for looser.
Look at the lower end of engine -- follow + battery cable
Re adjust both the throttle cable and the idle cable. The Idle cable probably needs to be backed off just a bit.
To to adjust the throttle cable, first take off the air cleaner. Hold down the metal adjusting tab that is at the end of the cable.There is a sliding piece at the end of the cable, move it against the end. Let go of the adjusting tab then move the cable to the end.
