I know on the 06 Nession Titan under the bed of the truck on the right side there is a housing for the wires for the brake lights, and they were shorting out and no matter how many times you changed the fuses or changed the bulbs themselves the rear light would still go out, In Those cases there was no re-call but the only thing I know is to fix the problem is an investment of about 7000 USD to get the new housing and wiring for the back lights... I reccoment checking on-line for the recall lists for the make and model of your truck and it might be there.. which the dealership would fix it for free, Other wise if that is the problem trade it in and get something else. GOOD LUCK!
Yes there is a fuse for your brake lights. Check your fuse box. It should be marked. If the fuse is ok then check the switch. It could be a bad switch or ground.
It could be the ground wire, the brake light switch, a damaged wire or connector or the turn signal switch.
first check the ground wire on the tail lights make sure it has a good ground. if that does not work then its a short somewhere in the car. ANSWER Your brake light switch could also be faulty and that could trigger your brake lights from turning on while your engine is off and all other lights off as well.

Those tail lights could be the brake lights you are seeing and that would be a faulty brake light switch or the brake light switch is out of adjustment.
it could be your brake light switch,or the fuse could be blown ,or the bulbs could be blown.or it could also be the turn signal switch.
If you mean the "BRAKE LIGHTS", it could be the switch, the turn signal switch, broken wires or bad connection in the wires or a faulty ground.
