You need to ask your local police this question. Laws vary from state to state. The fact that you have a convicted felon living in your home would indicate to me that common sense would dictate you should not have a gun in this house. Contact your local police or a lawyer about this issue.
most likely............if not a felon him/herself
No.
I've been told you cannot rent an apartment and allow your felon family member live there.
Typically, no. While the one family member being a felon doesn't impede on the right of other family members to possess a firearm, the felon may not purchase, possess, or have access to a firearm. Even if the firearms are kept locked up in a safe which the convicted felon does not have the means to get into, their proximity is considered to be them having access to firearms.
Of course
No- nor can a felon possess a firearm in any state. Federal law.
There is no Texas law that says a felon can not own a taser.
Not legally. In the U.S. a felon cannot own or possess a gun.
As long as your not a felon
Not in the U.S.A.
A felon is no longer allowed to legally carry a firearm.
Yes, living with a felon does not change your rights, however, you cannot allow the felon to have access to or control over a firearm.Additional: Re: possessing the firearm - - you will not be able to keep the weapon in the same home or vehicle or anywhere where the felon could conceivably have access to it. The felon does not have to actually hold the weapon in their hands in order to "possess" it. Just being within the vicinity of it puts them in, what the law terms as, "constructive possession."
