Taking off hub of 2003 dodge 2500 took off the hub bolt and the rotor bolts 4 of then is there more bolts. the hub still wont come off. what to do. trying to change u joint on ax?

You will need to install the 4 bolts on the back about half way and using a sacrificial socket, you need to hammer on the bolts to drive the hub out.

How do you replace rear wheel bearings on a 1998 civic ex?

First, remove your rear wheel. Remove the hub center dust cap by prising it off, be careful as it is reused. The outer edge of the hub retaining bolt underneath has been punched inwards at the keyway - use a punch or other tool to drive this back outwards. Remove the hub retaining bolt (this is a large size and will require a 3/4" drive socket set) while keeping the handbrake on. **You can also do this with the wheel on if the bolt is tight to provide more stability and to ensure the car doesn't fall off the jack. Just remember not to take the bolt all the way off before you jack the car up and remove the wheel and drum.** Now pull out the key behind the bolt, let the handbrake off and the rear drum and hub bearing should come off easily. Refitting is the opposite of removal, be sure to use a new hub retaining bolt, which should be supplied with the bearing. Also, torque the new bolt to the manufacturers specification.

How do you fix a broken valve cover bolt on a Chevy 1500 with a 5.3?

Remove the broken bolt and replace it with a new one. There are several ways to remove that broken bolt. You can remove the valve cover and weld a nut to what is left of the bolt, wait for it to cool off then unthread the broken bolt. You can also drill out the center of the broken bolt and use an easy-out. You can also drill into the broken bolt with a left handed drill bit, sometimes the drill bit will catch and spin out the broken piece. I would go with the first suggestion.

You have broken part of the front axle 1995 Tr is it safe to drive and does anyone have a diagram of the front chase?

If it's a halfshaft that's broken in half I would not drive it. It might flop around and tear stuff up. if It's sheared off rotationally (like the splines are worn out) then you could get by with just not putting it in 4wd. That is, unless it's sheared off in the hub, then you get metal bits in the hub/wheel bearing. That could lead to major safety issues. If anything other than a halfshaft is broken then don't drive it. You might have a bad day.

1997 crv Honda broken lug nut bolt front wheel how can you replace?

1)Replace the disc entirely or remove the disc and drive the broken stud backwards through the plate. replace by press-fitting or driving a new stud into position. 2)Without a hub removal tool you will not be able to get the hub off in order to drive out the old stud. Even if you cut off the stud to drive it out you will not be able to get the new stud in. If you are able to get the hub off you may need to replace the bearing since you may damage the old bearing by removing the hub. If only the first 1/2 inch of the lug is damaged then you can cut it off with a grinder and thin metal cutting disk. Cut it just shy of where the threads are good again and then slowly grind the face down until you have nothing but good threads. You will then be able to thread a lug nut on it again.

Is there a bolt that has to be removed from the power steering pump pulley on a 90 Thunderbird in addition to needing the special puller?

It doesn't have a bolt. Just put the puller's collar around the pulley hub, and with a bit of effort, the pulley comes off. A lot of mechanics use an air impact to drive bolt for the puller.
