There are many reasons why a Jeep Wrangler is overheating. A leak in the radiator system will cause overheating. Too much pressure in the engine can cause overheating. A bad water pump or thermostat could cause overheating. The transmission can also cause overheating if it is leaking.
yes it can
Overheating the engine shouldn't effect the transmission. Overheating the transmission could.
you could be low on coolant
A bad thermostat can cause overheating in a Nissan Frontier when the air conditioning is turned on. A bad compressor can also cause this.
Yes it could.
More than likely your tires need balanced. or you have a cord busted in a tire. Bent rim could cause it, or sometimes even just some mud caked to the back of a rim could throw it out of balance
Yes if it's seizing up, I'm assuming it's still in one piece...
A busted motor mount, for one.
Yes, a restricted or leaking radiator can cause the engine to overheat.
it could be the thermostat or it could have a leak in theradiator's hose or radiator
It could just be that the water pump is not properly working. Have you checked all the could-be causes for your car overheating if not then do so.
