Anytime you open the hydraulic system of the brakes you have introduced air into the system and you need to bleed the system when you are done. If you keep the brake fluid reservoir full while you make repairs it will be easier for you to bleed the system.

Good time to replace all the brake fluid. Remove the brake lines from the Master Cylinder and pump the master cylinder dry. Add fresh brake fluid from an unopened can and bleed the master cylinder. Reinstall the brake lines and then bleed all brake lines until you see clean fluid. Keep adding fluid to the Master Cylinder until you are done.Good time to replace all the brake fluid. How do you change the brake line on a 1999 Plymouth Neon?

You have to remove the brake line making sure you have something to catch to fluid that will drain out. Plug to the line to prevent the system from draining completely. Remove/replace the brake line and refill the master cylinder reservoir and bleed the air from the system( if it is the hose at the caliper, you usually only need to bleed that wheel). If the reservoir drained completely you would have to run a ABS/bleed system test using a scan tool. After the air is all bleed out, recheck/top off the reservoir.

Where and how do you adjust the clutch on a 94 escort?

The clutch can't be adjusted. It is an hydraulic clutch. The clutch pedal sends pressure from the master cylinder to the slave cylinder on the clutch. IF you are having trouble with it the thing to do is bleed the air out at the slave cylinder. Have an assistant pump the clutch and hold it to the floor. Then open the bleed valve on the slave cylinder to let the air out of the system. On the final bleed hold the clutch to the floor and close the bleed valve on the slave cylinder. The clutch master cylinder operates of the brake fluid reservoir. Make sure you keep this full of brake fluid as you bleed the clutch.
