There should be 2 torx bolts facing downward on the starter body, be careful and use the correct socket, once stripped they will be a bugger to remove.
The correct size Torx bit is a T-55.
Disconnect terminal at th battery, then disconnect the wires at the starter, two bolts hold it on to the engine, both down facing and most likely torx, use the proper tork socket to remove the bolts and the starter will drop right down.
Many auto repair shops like advance auto, autozone, pep boys... etc have torx bits either in the form of a screwdriver with the torx bit on the end or as a socket for your socket wrench. On the funnier side.... just pick it up! Here's your sign.
Easy enough, 2 torx bolts going straight up from the starter, and dont forget to unhook the electricals.
Torx T 40 socket
Any type of socket can be used to remove a 91' Cavalier wheel cylinder bolt that looks like a reversed torx. However, make sure the socket is a bolt head socket.
T55 TORX BIT ON THE FRONT 12MM SOCKET ON THE REAR!
it is an Allen wrench not a TORX socket
Behind the throttle body opening under the throttle position sensor. Takes Torx t-20 bit to remove -- 2 screws, use Torx bit on a 1/4" socket drive with a 1/4" socket to break seal on Torx screws.
You need a torx screwdriver....
T-55 Torx Socket (DO NOT USE AN ALLEN WRENCH) - To remove the 3 bolts that secure hub assemble to steering knuckle. 1 -3/16 deep socket - To remove axle spindle nut.
