if you can find a bell housing that will bolt up to the engine you will be in business.
No, completely different bell housing patterns.
No it is not
replace the computer under hood driver side i had same problem changed that and fixed..... It could also be the Crank Sensor which is located on the backside of the engine on the transmission bell housing. That caused the same problem.
The bell housing is not the same on the two but if you are doing a change over from a automatic to a stick and have the trans and bell housing the will will fit where a automatic came out.
Yes the bell housing should be the same. Yes the bell housing should be the same.
No it is not. The diesel bell housing is much larger.
yes it will. chevy V8 engines all shared the same bell housing bolt pattern. you may need to replace the flywheel though as 454 were usually externally balanced where 350 was internally balanced.
I had the same question, and I called a Dodge dealership and spoke with the head mechanic and he said that is is not impossible, but it would be a pain b/c of the bell housing, electrical wiring, and bolting the tranny up and so forth...MAJOR pain and money involved. Its best to replace with the same liter engine. I hope this helps out... Be blessed..
If from the same engine, yes.If from the same engine, yes.
No, they are not. A 352 is part of the FE engine family. The 351 could be part of the 351m/400, Cleveland, or Windsor family. In and case, the FE family had its own bell housing bolt pattern that would not swap out with anything else.
No not if you plan on using the same bell housing.
