Front brake job. 1994 ford tempoWhen you pull the tire off take a #T30 Star Key not an Allen key to remove the brake caliper. Check the rotor see if its needs to be cut or replaced. Put your freshly cut rotor on or new rotor on. After this take a C-Clamp and a socket (any size deep recommended) and start tightining the C-Clamp to recomprese the piston on your caliper. If the caliper doesn't easly comprese the piston is seized and your going to have to replace the caliper, if the piston compreses put your new brake shoes/pads on starting with the rear pad (the small one) then the front (the bigger one). Slide the caliper on and tighten the star keys and your done. P.S Take the caliper off starting with the top first then the bottom and do the exact opposite to put it back on.
The size is 9mm hex. It needs to be long enough to reach the recessed caliper bolt.
