Primarily through its cuisine. In many parts of Australia, Thai cuisine is not too difficult to come across with ever increasing numbers of small business being set up by immigrants.

Australia has no distinct cuisine OS it has a very cosmopolitan society, However the foods of Asia in general play a much larger part in Australia''sfood since our involvement in the Vietnam war then before then. It is not strictly correct to say Australia has no distinct cuisine. For a very long time, Australia had a distinctive "cuisine" of simple fare, such as mutton/lamb and potatoes. Australians had simple tastes. Korean food has had a similar influence on Australian cuisine as other Asian foods, in that Australians are far more willing to experiment with other flavours in their own cooking and when they eat out. The Korean influence can be seen in the spices and condiments which are available in the supermarket, as well as the new variety of menus in restaurants.
Until 1960 it would be safe to quote an English cookbook. However as a result of Immigration from all over the world the Cuisine in Australia has become truly cosmopolitan. There is no longer a local cuisine in Australia.

Mexican Cuisine is greatly varied and consists mainly of native ingredients of Mexico. Slowly, other country's flavors have made it into the cuisine. The main staples have remained beans, corn and the chili pepper.

I believe it would be the use of the spices that is influenced by China. Also the various use of noodles in the cuisine.
Most of the Mexican influence, can found in language and cuisine. For the language, many Mexican immigrants and Mexican-Americans or simply Americans of Mexican descent speak Spanish as a native. Although, not only Mexicans but Cubans and Puerto Ricans also contribute to the Spanish language in the southern and western United States. The food, is also influenced American cuisine. Flour tortillas and nachos are Tex-Mex cuisine. Meaning, you won't find them in Mexico. Real tacos are made with corn tortilla and chicken, but Tex-Mex tacos are made with flour tortillas and beef. Taco Bell, is based off of Tex-Mex cuisine. Not Mexican food. The Now and Later candies, are of Mexican origin. Oh, also the pinata tradition in which a colorful cardboard box (usually in a certain type of design) is hit with a bat/stick and a bunch of candy or money spills out as the children run towards it and play war. That is also SIGNIFICANTLY passed on to non-Mexican families in the United States. Just about every American family does some kind of pinata for birthday parties. So that is also as popular in America as it is in Mexico.
