You can reduce poverty by donating money and helping the people in poverty get good medicine, good food and a better life. Also you can join the the United Nation and help them help the people who are suffering.you can also set up fund raiseres for money to be donated to the poor
Only by love, kindness and the generosity of those who have been blessed with many posessions and resources- which is why it will not be eradicated. Jesus said "The poor will always be among us". He said that because he knows the hearts of all men.
The answer of how to reduce poverty depends on the political perspective of the person answering the question. Personally, I believe the best way to reduce poverty (and the only way to eliminate poverty) is to create jobs through capitalism; however, many people in today's America claim they do not like capitalism and that the government should distribute wealth evenly amongst the population. Although this method of wealth-redistribution sounds good in theory, it would never work. If wealth was evenly distributed amongst the population (like an allowance that a mother or father would give to their children), there would be no need for an economy. People wouldn't go to work because they wouldn't have to go to work and we would be transformed into a society dependent on the elitist who caused our financial problems in the first place.
If wealth was redistributed, you don't actually believe that they would redistribute the wealth of Bill Gates, David Rockefeller, Warren Buffet, or any of the other multi-billionaires and super millionaires do you? Of course not! The government would take every penny from the middle and lower classes and then redistribute that money amongst the middle and lower classes, while the elitists would continue to transfer wealth and power to their control. Wealth redistribution will not fix the problem of poverty, it will reinforce its grasp on the middle and lower class and remove every opportunity for financial advancement and individual success.
The media portrays capitalism as a bad and evil thing; there are many bad and evil capitalists (i.e.- George Soros, David Rockefeller, the Rothschilds, etc.), but capitalism in itself is what drives the world economy, lifts poverty stricken peoples above helplessness, and allows the less advantaged to become something amazing (such as the William Gates story). Heck, I mean even President Barack Obama is a capitalist - in one year he made something like $8,000,000 from his book - did he redistribute HIS wealth to the less fortunate? Heck no! He kept his profits because he EARNED them! Although I don't completely agree with everything Pres. Obama says, I do believe he deserves to keep every penny he made from his book!
The only way to eliminate poverty in today's world is to spread capitalism, while at the same time creating laws that prevent evil capitalists from destroying the financial system (i.e. - the Federal Reserve System is destroying America's financial exceptionalism). If wealth is ever redistributed, it will not be the wealth of the super rich, it will be the very limited wealth of the lower classes. The ONLY way to eliminate poverty is to create jobs through capitalism!
Capitalist-America is the wealthiest country in the world with a GDP of about $14 TRILLION, China is in second place with a GDP of about $4 TRILLION. Not only are we the wealthiest country, but we are also the most giving country. 70% of the worlds charitable contributions come from the United States of America! America is where non-profit organizations such as 'World Vision' were created. World Vision is the biggest organization helping poverty stricken people around the world by giving them money, food, clothing, shelter, water, toys, tools, farm animals, etc.
So the next time you hear someone proclaim, "Capitalist-America is a greedy, selfish, hateful, racist, evil nation who is using 99% of the worlds resources and not giving anything back to anyone, and America is destroying the Earth!" don't believe a word you hear! Capitalism creates jobs, jobs create wealth, wealth eliminates poverty!
I could go on and on, but I think you get the picture - POVERTY CAN BE ELIMINATED BY SPREADING CAPITALISM!
WE CAN SOLVE THIS PROBLEM OF POVERTY BY DONATING MONEY IN CHARITIES AND BY GIVING JOBS TO JOBLESS PEOPLE AND BY WEEDING OUT GOVERNMENT CORRUPTION AND THE DISHONEST PEOPLE.

Some theorists believe that poverty can be reduced through policies of inclusive growth. This means that when there is economic growth in a society, equitable opportunities are given to members of that society.

Purely in Economic context, yes, poverty can set off a vicious circle, culminating in even more poverty. It goes something like this : Poverty > Less Income > Less Consumption > Low Consumption Expenditure > Low Revenue for firms > Lesser Production > Lesser Income for Factor Inputs > Poverty Therefore, this vicious circle will keep on incrementing. This can be prevented by suitable injections of capital investment by governments to increase availability of credit in the economy.
