One use is in Indian cooking to make a dense bread that is cooked on a stovetop, often called rotlo (not to be confused with roti or rotli which is a thin whole wheat bread). The ingredients are simple, juwar or sorghum flour and water. The bread by itself is very bland, but paired with a curry dish, it makes for a hearty, filling and nutrious meal.
