Immigration to Europe had been a rarity in let's say the last centuries before WW 2. The last case of major movements had happend around the time of the fall of the Roman Empire. After WW 2 (that is, mostly since the Nineties) immigration to Europe usually takes the form of people who are fleeing from (or at least claim to flee from) Third World countries where they supposedly are persecuted or discriminated against for their race, religion or political beliefs. Most immigrants however simply use the asylum procedure as a pretext and are economic migrants from Africa and the Middle East, looking for work and a better future than their own coutries offer.
One other form of major immigration - also only starting after WW 2 - was that of people from Britain's former colonies into Britain itself. It changed especially the urban areas of England proper into multicultural communities.

There is no such thing as the Europe War. There were two main wars in Europe in the 19th Century: The First World War and the Second World War.
The first major immigration boom in Australia occurred with the early goldrushes in the 1850s. The second major immigration boom occurred immediately after World War II.
