This combined with the great depression led to incredible financial misery through Germany and a high inflation rate caused massive instability. Within 1year about 4 or 5 million out of work Gemans had found jobs mostly associated with remiliaterising Germany. Hitler then embarked on gaining more land for laudesraum "living space" combined with his facist veiws of slavs and Jews and other "undesirables" set about his programme of murderous genocide which after the invasion of Poland, England could sit still no more and declared war on Germany, moe so Hitlers facist regime. Neville Chamberlain declared war on Hitler. Winston Churchill took the reigns in 1940. This is all fact.

After World War One (WWI), and the Paris Peace Conference, Germany had to pay and take sole responsibility for WWI. Thus they had to pay money, and Give Rhineland back to France. He also had to reduce his army to 100,000 men, eliminate his airforce, and have demilitarized zones. In other words, Germany was resentful because it was left 'holding the bag', and there was no reconstruction initiative by the rest of the world. (This is why, after WWII, the US and others helped to re-build Japan, an act of which wisdom and economics many questioned.)

In the 1930's, after the Enabling Act, where Hitler made himself dictator, he invaded and occupied Rhinedland and Sudetanland (West and South-East Germany). Hitler made an Axis Alliance with Mussolini's Italy, and during the same year, in 1935, Italy invaded Ethiopia. In 1938, Hitler put Austrian Nazis in charge of Austria, and formally anexed Austria to Germany. In 1939, Hitler and his troops surrounded Poland, and conquered it in only four weeks, and in Sept. 29, Germany and the USSR formally divided Poland between them. It was not until September 3, 1939, that Britain and France declared war on Germany.

World War Two (WWII) started in 1939 and ended in 1945. Winston Churchill led Britain to victory while Adolf Hitler and the Nazis were bombing England. The reason why the war started was because Hitler and a bunch of Germans hated how they were treated after WWI, so they wanted to start a war. A Serbian nationalist assassinated the Archduke Ferdinand and his wife Sophie, in August 1914 in Sarajevo, which was part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Because of long-standing alliances, Germany was allied with the Austro-Hungarians and the Serbs were protected by the Russian Tsar. Even though the Kaiser was related to Nicholas 2 of Russia and were cousins, Nicholas felt an obligation to side with Serbia. The British and the French were allies and reached out to Russia and formed an alliance against the Central Powers. The assasination was the spark that started the "Great War. Eventually the Ottoman Turks and their empire would join the Central Powers and fight the British Empire and the Russians.
World War 2 started on Sept 1, 1939, when Germany invaded Poland. Prior to that, in August, the Nazis and the Soviet Union signed a non-aggression pact, allowing for the dismemberment of Poland and the acquisition of the Baltic States by the Soviets. The Germans had dressed up Polish criminals as army types and forced to attack a radio station on the border. The German used this provocation as an excuse to attack the Polish army! There is no doubt that Germany, in both world wars, was the most antagonist of any country.
