turn key to on position w/ engine off and press gas pedal 5 times fast and watch for oil light to blink 5 times and then it's reset
There may be a red reset button on the fuse panel in the side of the dash down by the driver-side door. With the key in the on position, but the car not running, push the reset button once, then the change oil light will start flashing, then press an hold the reset button for a few seconds and the light should go off. This worked for my 2000 Grand Am, not sure if its the same for the 2006 models.
