air is not blowing out of my 2005 cheverolet avalanche ducts but only when I am driving.
If the AC stopped blowing air on your 2003 Toyota Echo, the blower fuse could be to blame. If the fuse is fine, it might be the blower resistor that needs to be replaced.
The blower is drawing to many amps. Have it checked. If that's not it. your blower motor is shorted out. Om the motor to the frame.
Check your heater core also.
I dont know anything about cars but my blower stopped working in my car and I took it to the mechanic and he changed a fuse and it started working again. Then a couple of months later the blower stoped blowing again and I took it back to the mechanic and he said the fuse is fine it might be the blower moter, how can I tell, I think it's a loose wire because my radio was removed and everysince my radio was removed my blower has been giving me problems.
The wiring, switch or blower has failed.
Defective blower motor or blower motor resistor pack.
Bad fan motor? overheating and seizing?
Should under dash on firwall near blower motor.
check the underdash fuse labeled blower motor and under hood fues box for same will be one or the outher if fuse is bad replace and recheck ifit blows the fuse again check the blower motor for power apply 12v to the 2 pin coector blower motor is under pasinger dash board if it does not work try replacing the bower motot with a new or used blower motor
Yes there is a fuse, it's under the hood near the battery. There should be a cover that says fuses. I had the same problem but, it wasn't the fuse. the connection to the blower motor was a little dirty. I cleaned it with a toothbrush and it works fine. Your blower motor should be under your glove box . it loooks like a round black thing that has a couple wires coming out(I know that sounds funny but, the best way to describe). Turn you blower on and jiggle the wire it should work.
Blowing air and lack of heat are two separate agendas. If you have air circulating, your blower is fine. The heat in most auto heaters comes from hot water being circulated from the coolant system .i.e. radiator (cool), engine block(hot), through the heater,(hot), back to the radiator,(cool). Some where you have an interuption in this system.
