Where is the ignition module located at in a 1994 Mitsubishi gallant?
The Ignition Module on this vehicle is located inside the distributor car. There are 2 sets of wires that plug into the distributor. The large wire connector is your ignition module. In order to remove the old one you must. . Unscrew and remove the distributor cap. Pull of the Rotor button in the center of the distributor. Remove the two screws on each side that holds in the plastic gasket that goes around the inside edge of the distributor. Once that is off.. there are 2 more screws that have to be removed that holds on the black distributor shield. Remove the Center screw that was underneath the rotor button. (Be sure not to strip that screw). Once the screw is out.. remove the contents but make sure to remember how it goes back together. Once the contents are removed.. there will be a very small screw that holds down a small metal contacter. Remove that screw.. slightly bend the contactor and remove the igniition module. Its alot simpler than it sounds. Good Luck!
How do you remove distributor rotor on 2000 crv?
I have a 1999 cr-v. With the distributor cap off you must slightly give the key a turn in the ignition (not trying to start it) just to turn the rotor a little. When the teeth on the rotor face the front end of the car you should be able to see a phillip's head screw on the back side that screws directly into the distributor shaft. Unscrew this and the rotor should slide right off. Be careful not to strip the screw, because you might end up having to take off the entire distributor housing to drill it out.

How do you change the distributor on a 96 Acura RL?
the 1996 Acura RL does not have a distributor, nor does it have any plug wires, it does however have 6 coils and 6 spark plugs. You will have to remove each coil in order to change the spark plug underneath it. But it's easy, just two bolts per coil. Don't strip the aluminum heads or you will be paying for it big time!
Explain the working of an electric bell?
an electric bell has an electromagnet emitter near the iron strip .the iron strip has a connection screw which helps to complete the circuit. the electromagnet helps to pull the iron strip from the connection screw. this breakes the circuit and the electromagnet no longer will have the power to pull the iron strip, so the iron strip moves to the connection screw and makes the circuit complete which makes the iron strip pull towards the gong this cycle continuous till the switch is on

How do you repair a strip screw?
strip screw? Ok heres a coulple answers hope one of them can help you. IF the screw is in wood and wont "grab" anything, you can remove the screw and fill the hole in the wood with a wood filler that will hold nails and screws( should say on packaging) and re install the screw. If the screw is in metal, you can fill the hole with a steel epoxy( JB weld, harveys plumbers epoxy putty, etc.) and re install the screw is it is self tapping. If the situation allows tap the hole to the next larger size and install a new larger screw. If the screw head is stripped, then you may be able to remove it with an extractor, ( E-Z out for large screws and bolts, Or something similar to a Craftsman Screw Out, Both come with instructions on how to use them, and there are cheaper versions available by other manufactures) or if the screw head is sticking out of the work far enough, you can use a hacksaw to cut a grove in the head, and turn it out with a flat head screwdriver. If you need to repair a strip (collated) screw gun, you should ask that question. Hope this helped

How do you remove the front rotors on your 1993 Geo Metro?
Remove the wheel and brake calipers. Be careful not to let the caliper hang by the brake line. Use a hanger to hold it up and out of the way. On the rotors the are screws close to the center of the rotor, remove these screws and the rotor just slides off. The screws can be tough, dont strip the heads, use the appropiate size screw driver and tap a few times with a hammer, that may help loosen it. I didnt put the screws back in after replacing the rotor, I believe that is a optional choice.

Remove the top screw located on the hood support bar. There are two hooks holding the light with side fender. Push the corner light towards the center (HeadLamps) and release it using screw driver. Pull the light outwards, there is a screw held by locking strip. It should come out by pulling the light. For aasembly, start from inserting hooks in their place, push the light in (will require little force) and put the top screw in.
How do you replace a rear quarter window on a 1981-85 Ford Laser hatchback?
I did this recently on my 1989 Laser 4-door Station Wagon, probably similar. 1. Wind the window on the door with the broken quater-light fully down. 2. Remove the inside trim from the door. 3. There is a vertical metal strip that seperates the sliding window from the quarterlight. It is held at it's bottom end by one bolt, which you can see on the inside of the door. Tear a small hole in the clear plastic door-lining, push a socket through and loosen the bolt SLIGHTLY, but DO NOT REMOVE IT. 4. At the top of the vertical metal strip, pull the rubber door sealer from the door, so you can see under it. You'll see a phillips-head screw holding the top end of the vertical strip to the door. Remove this screw. 5. Tilt the vertical strip forward, into the space that would be occupied by the sliding window if it was closed. The strip is pivoting on the lower bolt that you loosened but didn't remove. 6. There is now enough space to insert the new quarterlight, complete with it's rubber sealing strip, ito the space behind the vertical metal strip. 7. Reassembly is obvious.
How do you disassemble the front driver side door on a 93 Buick Roadmaster?
The first step is to find a single Phillips screw hidden in the carpet on the lower rear side of the panel. It is approx 5 inches in and 4 inches up. Remove it. Next, peel each end of the grab handle inward to reveal a single large Phillips screw (1 per side). Remove the screws. Next remove the single screw behind the interior door handle and remove the door handle surround over the hadle itself. the rest of the fasteners are snap type. Start at the bottom using the special door fastner tool to release. You can just pull forcefully, but it usually breaks these fasteners. Once the door is only hanging from the top strip, remove all elecrical connections. Next roll down the window and pull upward on the panel to release it from the lower window strip. Installation is reverse of removal.
