The 1995 Accord ghas a hydraulically operated clutch, notg a cable.
Does my 1995 Toyota Paseo have a clutch cable
All 1995 GEO Trackers have a clutch cable that is adjustable instead of a clutch reservior filled with hydraulic fluid.
First, the clutch cable is self adjusting, don't pull on the clutch cable housing to remove it from the dash panel, the self adjuster may be damaged. Remove the power distribution center and the transaxle cover. Pull back on the clutch cable housing and disconnect the cable. Pull the cable from the slot in the transaxle and disconnect the cable from the release lever. Push in the clutch cable and remove the cable from the pedal. Pull the cable from the dash using a slight twisting motion. Installation is the reverse proceedure. You may want to get a manual for all the 8x10 glossy photos and stuff.
The self adjusting mechanism of the clutch cable can be slipping and making a click noise and not engaging the clutch when you press the pedal. You might just need a new clutch cable.
how much cost to change a clutch for a geo prizm 1995
there is no cable, it is a hydraulic system and you probably just need a new slave cylinder or a master cylinder. Both are easy to replace. it could be that you just need fluid in the resovior.....
pull out the transmission
its a cable. only 96-98 SPORTS 1.8 Liter have hydr. clutch. (of the early models you mention)
No, the 1990 civic transmission is a cable operated clutch and the 1995 civic is a hydraulic operated clutch. So unless you rig up a hydraulic clutch system(Master cylinder, pedal, slave cylinder, lines...) it will not work. But a company called "Hasport" makes a bracket that has a cable attachment that operates the clutch engagement and disengagement.
Can u teach me how to change a clutch kit for a 96 kawasaki Volkin??
It is located on the clutch slave cylinder. The slave cylinder is mounted on top of the transmission. Have someone push on the clutch cable and you will see movement on the cylinder.
