On the passenger side floorboard, pull back the carpet under the glove box and remove the wood panel. The big box to the left is the ECU, look up and to the right and you'll see a small square box with a blue 1M relay attached. (its slightly hidden, so u need to get your head in there to see it) Unplug the two plugs and your factory alarm is disabled. I removed the whole brain (two 10mm screws) but you can leave it in the car too. Let me know how this works, my email is TOOL50@Yahoo.com
The factory alarm can not be removed. If it isn't shutting off properly the swithces inside the door have probably fallen off the key cylinders. If it goes of for no reason, there is probably a bad door or hood ajar switch.
The factory alarm is built in both the engine and body computers. There is no alarm box.
You disarm the factory alarm by unlocking a door with the key or use the remote.
Set it on Fire!!! =]

Unlock the door with a key or use the remote.
You use your key, you can also follow the instructions in the owner's manual. If you have neither of these then you need to take the vehicle to your dealer.
I believe it has to do with factory alarm.(maybe disarmed ?)
You put the key in the driver door and turn to the unlock position.
