The lighting problem is the same they run into on every other pop up head light fixture. If they don't pop up you have what is call an acuator, close to the head light frammost of them run off of a vacume system but the new ones may be electronic..First check to see if there is a fuse that controles the head light assymbly. In the fuse panel in the car and under the hood.if there is no sign of a fuse or relay for the assymbly then it is most likely a vacume problem..........most assymblys never go out at the same time due to accuator problems.
Replace it which is a major repair.
i don't know about the 3000gt but Mitsubishi is very good i bought one brand new and had it for 15 yrs the most money i put into it at one time was $583 [morri908] I own a 1993 Mitsubishi 3000GT SL (non turbo). It's a great car. It takes forever for a part to break, but remember that when it does it'll cost you quite a bit to fix (... well, just slightly higher then other cars.) And remember that it only takes Premium fuel
Yes I would ask Mitsubishi about that because I know someone who had the same problem and it cost them 200 pounds to fix
how do i fix the problem if the tcl light comes on in a 2003 mitsubishi galant

Depends on why it wont go up. Sometimes there is a plastic tab that breaks and requires replacement of the mechanism. There is also a way to fix it that can be found on www.team3s.com as it is a common problem and someone has a detailes repair with pictures if that is the case.
here is a website that you can go to for the water pump. http://www.car-stuff.com/store/?N=11329+4294966999+1676+11921+9262 they are anywhere from about 66 dollars to about 100 dollars.
Mice and wiring make good friends. need to find where they chewed it up.
What are the headlights doing? Is the bulb burned out? Are the lights not coming on at all? Are they misaligned?
My 1992 Eclipse is doing the exact same thing, someone told me it might be the transmission computer or just the wiring. Whatever it is, this is really starting to irritate me.
Plastic is sun damaged. Replace them.
There's a TSB on this problem.
It depends on what type of headlight you have. What auto do you have?
