A large c-clamp works great. You can get a cheap one for 3 or4 $ (You might want to protect the inner caliper surface with a block of wood)
I have an oversized pair of Channel-lock pliers that I use mainly for Plumbing jobs, that work absolutely great for compressing the 2 cylinders on the caliper. The clamp works fine, but no screwing with the pliers, just squeeze. In order to release the pressure on the system to allow you to compress the caliper, you must remove the cap on the master cylinder. Otherwise you can't do it. Squeeze slowly, so that brake fluid doesn't squirt out. Then replace the master cylinder lid when you are done.
There isn't one the disk is held on by the brake calliper. You need to remove the calliper bolts with an Allen key tool then remove and support the calliper. Once that is done the disks should just slide off
take the calliper off/2bolts from the back side/ and use the hummer
it may be a a bad front wheel hub bearing or the brake calliper piston.
front wheel bearing bad on a motorcycle
Did you bleed the air out of the hydraulic system after changing the wheel cylinder? If not, you must do so.
Loosen wheel bolts, jack car up and support properly, remove wheel. Ok there's 2 ways you can do it, the first way is to remove the wire clip on the outside of the calliper, undo and remove the 2 slider bolts, then using a screwdriver, push the piston back into the calliper and you should be able to remove part of the calliper that holds the pads inplace. The other way which i do is after removing the road wheel, undo and remove the 2 19mm bolts that hold the calliper onto the hub assembly, push the piston back in using the screwdriver and then remove the whole calliper, now as the calliper is off and away from the disc there is a big gap between the pads(where the disc sat) and it allows you to move each pad to the centre of the calliper and out. Easy. then fit the new ones and follow instructions in reverse remembering to torque up the road wheel bolts to something like 65Lb/ft.
first thing you do is take off the calliper. then you will need to take off the calliper mount bracket. there will be two bolt's on the back side of the spindle. then the roter should just slide off with a little force. To assymble put bracket back on open master cylinder. compress calipor with a big channle locks or c clamp, mount calliper. do only one side at a time!!!!!
warm front is low pressure , cold front high pressure . because it pushes down on the surface (because cold air sinks) it makes high pressure .
jack up sportage, remove front wheels, remove 2 bolts on rear side of each caliper and remove calipers.
An Allen screw is not likely in that period Pontiac. Try 15 mm regular wrench.
fuel filter is located in front on right rear wheel mounted to the frame. bleed fuel pressure before changing it
