Pull the back seat out of the car and remove the black plate underneath the seat. The sending unit and fuel pump is under there!
it is on fuse-relay box (0n drivers side).it is number 409.

Remove fuel tank from vehicle and then remove fuel pump from tank.
Your fuel pump is located there and it could be the bearings on the pump or it could be getting air in the fuel is a lubricant for the bearings and when there is no fuel it is possible you could hear the bearings - my guess your fuel pump is packin up but do check for air leaks
You will need to remove the fuel pump wiring harness. Remove the fuel pump fuel lines. Remove the fuel pump retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new fuel pump.
