Remove the third bolt !!
It will be necessary to remove the front license plate and bracket. Remove license plate from bracket. Using a 3/16" drill bit, drill out the two pop rivets that hold the bracket to the bumper. This is from a a bull bar installation guide for a 2008 Ford Escape/2008 Mercury Mariner.
I recently purchased a new 2009 Malibu. Because it appeared that a special tool is needed to unscrew the three fasteners, I requested the dealer to have their bodyshop remove the license plate bracket. The bodyshop apparently had to drill the fasteners out.
Hit a Large tree or pole
jack up sportage, remove front wheels, remove 2 bolts on rear side of each caliper and remove calipers.
Turns out, the directions are in the user's manual! But, since I didn't look there, and to save others from having to look it up, here's how to do it (for a 2004 525i):Insert a screwdriver or key into the slot in the license plate bulb bracket and slide the bracket to the right until the left edge drops out of its latched positionThen, with your fingers you should be able to slide the bracket to the left to release the right edge of the bracket My license plate frame obstructed the right edge of the bracket a little, so I had to remove the left screw attaching it to the car, and screwed it back in after the bulb bracket was reinstalledWith a slight wiggle, the bracket should drop all the way down, allowing you to easily get to the bulb and replace itReverse the steps to replace the bracket
To remove the rivets that hold the ignition coil to the bracket: 1. Use a file or grinder to remove the head of the rivet on the bracket. 2, Use a suitable punch and drive the body of the rivet out of the bracket.
its been awhile on this one, i think it is screwed in, on second thought there is a bolt thru a small bracket you undo then the sensor comes off, Be gentle with it , they cost $ 189.90 each at Autozone.
it has 2 or three bolts holding the housing to the side of the engine block.You will have to remove the long support bracket to get access to these bolts, not hard just need a long extension for one of them.
remove belt, remove alternator plugs, then bolts. pull out alternator. then undo bolts for bracket and remove.
You will need a ratchet and a socket to remove it. You get under the rear of the truck and you will see the bolt and bracket holding the tire in place. Remove the bolt and the bracket hinges downward. You will need a ratchet and a socket to remove it. Take out the screws.
