The 2008 Honda Accord currently is in stock at all Honda dealers across the United States. The Honda Accord has been out since September 12, 2007. The Accord is now available in many trim levels which include: LX, LX-P, EX, EX-L and EX-L w/ Navigation. In addition you can get a V6 model on EX and higher models.
Well if you have a stock deck the first thing you need to do is make sure you buy a dash install kit with the after market deck you want to install. The stock stereo comes out easily after you remove the two screws on the side of the panels that hold the deck in place. The screws are by the drivers right foot and the other is by the passengers left foot.
for the 96-99 models, unscrew the panels underneath the steering wheel, take out the glove box, and the panel attached to the cigarette outlet. they should all snap out after unscrewing them. Once you do this, look up underneath the dash at the back of the stock stereo. there with be two screws, you can either use a 10mm or Phillips head to take them out, it then easily slides out from there. good luck…
Depending on the year! The stock radio on my 1990 accord required a 4 digit code in order to program. Just obtain the serial number on the bottom of the radio and take it to your nearest Honda dealer and they'll give you the code that's required! A much easier way is to go to the link I will post and sign up at Honda Owner Link. With the VIN number you can get the…

If you mean the stock stereo, you have to get these U shaped tools that have nubs on the ends of them. When you insert them, the stereo should pop out enough to pull it the rest of the way out. You could probably get a dealer or stereo place to do it for free if you ask nicely. Also if you order a new stereo they may or may not include the U tools.
YOu will need to remove the lower panel of the dash board, It houses the ash tary and cigarette ligter. there are four Phillips screws holding this panel in place. remove them and move your shifter into gear to pull the panel down and oaway there will be a wire connecter for the cig lighter you will need to uncouple... now you will have access to the underbelly of the car stereo. there will be…
According to my brother (who is a mechanic), The stock stereo in the protege requires radio removal tools (2 sets) to remove -- you can get them at just about any parts store. Just carefully remove the molding around the radio, insert the tools all the way and then pull them outward to release the clips. The radio should just slide out.
Remove the plastic trim panels to the left and right of the stereo with your fingernails or something that will not scratch the plastic. This will reveal four holes on each side. At a Radioshack type store you can buy DIN removal tools. But for a Double Din stereo you will need to buy two such packages. The instructions come with the package.
