First get the Chiltons for the Jeep. you have to drill out three rivits and disconnect it from the window track. then disconnect the electrical plug then pull out the motor. Keep in mind that when you put a new one in that you are going to have to bolt it in because the rivits will be gone.
It is to the right of the steering wheel, behind the paneling below where your knee would rest. You do not have to remove anything, you can just reach behind the paneling.
Remove the door panel. Remove the bolt that fastens the regulator to the window. Remove the 3 bolts that hold the regulator assembly to the door. Squeeze the entire assembly through the largest hole and replace with a new assembly in reverse order.
If the key dosent work then remove the inside door handle and window adjuster to remove the paneling. Then check to see if the lock rods are connected.

you have to pull off all the inerior paneling in the truck to expose the framework. then pull it out. sometimes a heat gun is helpful to soften the sealant that they use when they put the window in.

The window regulator for the Nissan Primera is riveted to the door beneath the interior paneling. You would need to remove both the interior panel and the old regulator in order to replace it.
remove the screw in the inside handle then pop out the plastic piece and remove the screw inside there (big torx bit) remove any other visible screws and pop off the panels retainer clips, disconnect the power lock and window wires.
none of the grand Cherokees feature a roll down window. most grand Cherokees will have a flipping glass lid or a fixed window. the flipper glass will not fit in the fixed window grands. im sure it could be done but you would have to deal with latches, interior paneling and mouldings. it would be alot of work and quite a mess.
Remove doop panel, remove dust cover, remove two nuts holding window, unbolt guide post, unbolt motor, swing assembly thru openning
To replace the car window on the driver side you will need to follow the following steps. 1. Disconnect the car battery if the window has automatic controls. 2. Remove the window trim and disconnect the window from manual or automatic controls. 3. Unbolt the regulator that holds the glass and remove the glass. 4. Replace the glass and reattach the regulator, controls and trim.
i am going to be doing this this weekend....this is how my chilton says to do it lower window to down position(if you can) remove door panel remove window weatherstripping remove black window surrond(should be a screw on top of surrond towards back edge) then stationary window should unbolt then remove pins that hold operator to track pick up and pull out the operating window
