If it's a 97 there is 3 screws to remove. 1) in the door handel part 2) in the bottom on the door 3) in the door holder. Use a flat-head screw driver to pot corners off. Once you do that just raise up over door lock, unplug window cables. Be careful not to break the door handel latch inside though.
You will need to remove the screws in the door. They are located in the door handle, the door latch and at the very bottom of the panel. Once you remove the three screws pull the panel and it will pop out.

On the driver and passenger side. There are three screws in the panel. The door latch that opens the door. The door handle you grab to close the door,and one at the very bottom of the panel. That screw is set back in a hole making it hard to see. After removing the three screws start pulling on the panel and it will start popping out away from the door.
