How do you remove the harmonic balancer on 1997 lesabre there are no holes for the bolts to go in just some rubbery stuff on the front what's with that?

Those three slot looking holes on the front of it are hiding the actual threaded bolt holes. If you shine a light in them, you will see the threads back inside. You need three 6mm x 1.0 bolts x 70mm-80mm in length for your puller. Most pullers won't have these bolts and you'll have to go to the hardware store.
