for a 1997 Chrysler Town and Country: lift the rear wiper arm away from the glass until it hits the metal stop. There is a small metal tab located at one side of the 90 degree cut out in the part of the arm that attaches to the drive motor shaft. With the arm still lifted away from the glass, use a screwdriver to pry the tab away from the arm body - it will shift about 3/8" of an inch with an audible click. After this just wiggle the arm until it comes off of the shaft - simple!
