2 screws under the speacker (look up), 1 screw behind cap behind door inside door handle, 1 screw under rubber flap that is inside handle that is used to close the door. use a puddy knife to start at the bottom up the sided to detach plastic clips
On mine there was a little more to it. Remove upholstered pad at front of box right below window switches(it has 1 plastic clip in the center and pulls out from bottom). Remove screw holding switch plate in place and under that I found 1 additional screw holding the panel in place.

it's on the driver's side dash panel. when you open the driver's door, look at the side of the dash. there should be a rounded-triangular panel that houses fuses and the inertia switch. the switch is to the right, covered with a rubber boot.
How do you disassemble a jaguar xk8 inside door panel?
If you look at the inside the handle you will see a small round screw cover. Remove that cover and there will be a Phillips screw in there. Remove the screw and you should be able to remove the inside door handle. Next, remove the rubber lining in the little storage compartment in the door, there will be one screw in underneath for you to remove. Next remove the small trim piece along the next to the window switch. Now you should see a small screw holding the window switch in, remove that screw and pry out the switch. Disconnect the electrical connector going to the switch. You should see one more screw that was hidden by the switch. Remove that screw. Now remove the small speaker on the upper inner corner of the door, you should be able to just pull it out. Remove the connector to it. Now you can simply start pulling off the door panel. Hmmm... this is a little complicated, and impossible to explain, so read these threads on jaguarforums.com and watch the videos embedded in the threads. You'll find that the key goes into a keyhole hidden in the Chrome "XK8" badge on the rear panel. Between the k and the 8 if I recall.

If you go to advance auto or auto zone ask the people behind the counter to show you where there plastic door clips are. They will work fine.

If the windows do not lower automatically when opening door (to clear convertible top) and then raise atomatically when door is shut, then check your battery. Right after I purchased my 2001 XK8 used, it cost me $300 at the Jag dealer for a new battery to learn this tidbit.
