Find another 91' jeep Cherokee and ask if they will part it out or swap vehicles, yes I'm joking about the vehicle swap. But if you keep an eye out for other 91's in the paper, or sitting next to people's houses/garages you might find one.

try to find on from a newer model and modify it to your vehicle. Try eBay or Google search salvage yards

Check out junkyarddog.com - it's an online search of salvage yards nationwide. You can find the part you need, contact that salvage yard, and have the part shipped to you.

The clutch is hydraulic and is not adjustable.

Not sure what you're asking about. I have a 1998 S10 standard shift that still has a clutch pedal.

Near the top of the Clutch pedal bracket that is holding it all together.

The clutch system uses DOT 4 brake fluid.

The clutch fluid is located in the same reservoir as the brake fluid. As a dot 4 brake fluid, used for the breaks and the clutch.

There is more than reason. A clutch has plates that engage and disengage. The plates can wear out , often mostly due to riding the clutch or other improper operation. The clutch also has bearing and springs- if any of these breaks, the clutch fails.

pull it down the road and to let the clutch out as it's in gear and keep doing it until it breaks free.

The '96 200sx has no fluid for the clutch. This car has a cable operated clutch that needs to be adjusted. If the cable breaks the clutch will not disengage. If the clutch is getting tight it will need lubed. If lubing the cable doesn't work a new cable is needed.

There is no fuses for the air conditioning clutch, but there is a relay mounted on the passenger fender beside the fuel pump relay.

Remove the top part of the fan shroud,( most shroulds are two piece) unbolt the 4 bolts on the clutch and remove the clutch.

It could have either or both depending on how it was built.

There is no relay. The solenoid is inside the transmission on the valve body.

"Sensonic" is Saab's electrically-operated clutch. It was supposed to let you shift a manual transmission faster than a pedal-operated clutch could. It was discontinued shortly after introduction because the customers didn't like it.

User Avatar

It could be the A/C clutch not engaging or a blown fuse.

User Avatar

It's on top of the transmission. Follow the tube coming from the master cylinder.

The clutch system uses DOT 3 brake fluid.

There is no adjust on an AC clutch, it is a good or bad situation. The clutch is activated magnetically. If it is th ebelt you are asking about it should be kept tight by the belt tensioner. If it is still squealing, change the belt, if no help change the tensioner.

need to remove transmission, sounds like a bad clutch if your goin to replace that, replace the flywheel also, but stock oem flywheels are discontinued, you could get a used one and get it resurfaced but it's best to go with a new one in mycase, i got an act2100 clutch and act prolite flywheel
