You lift up the wiper arm and look for a clip to press at the end of the wiper arm. Slide off old wiper blade and clip on the new one. I did them both today and took less than 5 minutes.
The windshield wiper arm is held in place by a retaining clip. Hold the retaining clip in and the windshield wiper arm will come off. Put the new windshield wiper on and read lease the retaining clip.
on the end of the wiper you will see a plastic clip if you look carefully you will see it has a little clip system normall i use a little tiny flathead screwdriver or a pointed knife by pressing the under the clip this should allow the wiper to be slid off the arm, use your clip on the new wiper blade if you can.
Remove the wiper arm retaining clip. The retaining clip will be just below the wiper arm connection. Hold the retaining clip in and the wiper arm will come off.
To replace a windshield wiper motor for a 1998 F150, first remove the bottom trim on the window. Then remove both wiper blade assemblies and all screws on the metal cowling. Remove the retaining clip from the wiper motor linkage and pull the controls rods off.
look at the half circle clip on the side of wiper arm. lift the wiper arm and pull the clip out as far as it goes the wiper arm should rest on the clip and now be "locked" up in the air . now you should be able to remove the wiper arm
If you look a the wiper where it is attached, you will see a little sort of spring clip, when you push on this clip with a small screwdriver, it will release. There are many different types, so if this one is yours, it is very easy. The new one will just lock in when you push on it.
The wiper arms have a small clip under them that pushes to the side, then the arms pull off. The motor is under the cowling, remove the cowling to gain access.

You can remove the 2005 Ford Explorer rear wiper arm by removing the retaining clip. The retaining clip is just below the wiper arm connection.
Many wiper blades on a 1998 Grand Voyager are held in by a clip. Push the clip towards the arm, and then push the blade back. When the wiper blade is free from the hook, disconnect it from the arm by pushing the wiper down the arm a few inches. It will be free and easy to remove. Now remove the old wiper, and prepare the new wiper. Aim the hook towards the new wiper, it will go over the top. Push the blade towards the end of the arm, until it clicks. Once it clicks, it is in the correct position.
The rear window wiper arm will have a retaining clip at the bottom of the wiper arm. Hold the retaining clip in with two fingers and pull outward on the rear wiper arm.
