The 95 models did not have the spider on them. It was a TBI / Throttle body injection system. If your engine is a vortec, Then no it can't be cleaned.
If you have CFI (Central Fuel Injection) the "spider" would be found under the upper intake manifold. The upper intake manifold has to be removed to gain access. If you have TBI (Throttle Body Injection) it doesn't have a "spider".
yes a 1993 4.3 liter motor can have (cpi) centralport injection) (spyder injection) if your blazer has a (w) has it 8th vin letter then yes it does but if it has a (z) from a 8th letter on your vin number iz a (tbi) throttle body injection
To my knowlege the spider fuel injector system came out in the 96 models. 1995 still had the throttle body injection.
When it gives you trouble otherwise, leave it alone.
Not sure what motor you have but the 4.3 L vorteck has a spider injector underneath the intake so pull off the manifold to locate the injector. Its like 2 or 300 dollars to replace but a common problem for that year blazer
name of a differential gear. Also, engines with CPI (Central Port Injection), the bank of fuel injector poppets that are under the upper intake manifold are commonly called the "spider".
If you have the central injection system, you regulator is inside the plenum, next to the spider assembly. Takes about 20 minutes to get to it.
You have to open the differential and remove the retaining pin from the spider gear to remove the axle shaft.
If you have a vortec their is only one injector. It is located inside the throttle body. Called a spider and available only through dealer. Part retail $300
The fuel injection system that resembles a "spider" came out in the 1996 S10 models. The 1995 still had the TFI (Throttle Body Injection) system. If you are looking for the fuel pump relay for the 1995 S10 series, look in the glove compartment, you will see a access door marked "relays". The fuel pump relay would be the first one on the left side.
It has a spider injector system which also has a regulator.
