Honest answer, take it to Mazda, the front wheel bearings are truly one of the few "non-user-serviceable" parts on the MX-3 (rear wheels are easy). You can read the "Online Shop Manual" in the Technical section at "MX-3.com", but if I remember correctly part of the process involves a 20-ton hydraulic press, and a small mistake (crack) will result in replacement of the entire front yoke assembly at a great expense including parts, alignment, etc. This is something that should strictly be a "dealer only" service department (not an OEM service company, or a shade-tree job). I have no interest in Mazda (other than owning one) and do most of my own service or have repair shops do nearly all my other work, but this one is one to leave in Mazda's hands (so they can fix it at their cost if it goes badly).
