Your SRS light can come on for a number of reasons including changing the battery, or just inadvertantly pulling the SRS fuse. It doesn't necessarily mean you have a problem with the SRS system -although it may. The best way to tell is by clearing all codes and resetting the SRS computer. If the light comes back on, something's up with the SRS system - could be something as simple as a seat belt switch.

You can reset the SRS computer with a special "tool" from Honda. It's inexpensive and certainly cheaper than having the dealer do it for you.

Happened to me: Read this on the web and found it to be the culprit in my case. I found that this light came on due to an old battery. The low voltage under a load when running the car caused my map lights, headlights to flicker a little (a good sign, the battery was bad). The old battery displayed a "Blue" reading on the battery which = good but the battery was 5 years old and when tested under a load at the auto store (Auto Zn) in this case, it's voltage dropped. Changed the battery (it was time to anyways), reset the SRS light (using jumper wire on the SRS cable) as explained on the web and the light did not come back on. SRS light came on due to low voltage or uneven voltage in the system. The alternator was trying to recharge the battery but was having a difficult time because the battery was bad -->affected the SRS system
