You will need to remove the inside door panel of your 1988 Chevrolet Blazer S 10. Remove the door handle linkage. Remove the door handle retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new door handle.
To remove the door locks on a 1991 S10, the door panel has to be removed. There are bolts inside that hold the lock mechanism in place.

The outside door handle on the driver's side is loose on the right side not the left. I found the screw for the out side left after taking the door panel off but could not find how to tighten the outside right of the handle. How is it connected ?

You must remove the door panel to gain access to the inside of the handle. Chect the rod and make sure the clip hasn't fallen off or broke. The more common problem with those handles are the eye where the rod attatches gets busted by someone who lets the handle snap back into the rest position. To replace the handle, you must remove the inside door panel to gain access to to the mounting bolts that hold the handle on.
