This is refered as Top Dead Center(TDC). As you face the camshafts, rotate the crankshaft until the letter (I) on the intake canshaft to your left is at the 12 o'clock position lined up with the mark on the top of the engine, at the same time letter (E) on the exhaust camshaft is going to be lined up at the 12 o'clock position also. Then make sure the mark on the crankshaft is line up with the mark on the engine block (12 o'clock also). I recomend you buy a Hanes repair manual for all you vehicles if you like to do some of the work in your cars.
