Ground beef should ALWAYS be fully cooked! It's not like eating a steak rare. More people have gotten sick from eating partially cooked hamburger (and there have been more recalls from companies on produced ground beef that is bad) so, take a risk ... eat it rare or hit the ER. It would take about 2 minutes on each side (enough to brown the meat quite well on each side. If in doubt about the inside, then take a fork and partially and gently pull a little of the meat apart in the middle of the burger.
Don't say you weren't warned about eating rare hamburger.
Do not believe the above Propaganda. It is also not the answer to the question. The question was how long one should grill a half a pound if you WANT it rare. 3 minutes on each side should do the trick. Make sure the grill is really hot when you start.
Bon Appetit!!!
25-30 mins 150 degrees
a little over medium
I like to start on medium high to brown outside (1-2 minutes per side), then finish on medium low to desired level of how you wish your burger cooked. After browning, it also works well to remove to a baking sheet and finish in the oven at 300 degrees. With either method, keep a close eye on internal temperature to achieve desired finish of the cooked burger. (125 = medium-rare, 130 = medium, 135 = medium-well).
it is a big burger THAT TAKES 1 MINUTE TO COOK!!!!! COOOOOOOOOOL
the burgers are cooked in a self-feeding broiler, it is cook by flames
its when you cook on a medium temperature

There is no temperature setting on a Geore Foreman Grill. If you look at the packaging of the turkey burger it should cook to an internal temperature of at least 165F.
You cook home made burgers by addinng your own ingredients to the monced beef you then mix them in.When cooking place a frying pan on a medium heat and add some oil cook them for 10-15 minutes. After cooking check the inside of the burger is hot to touch to make sure there fully cooked.
Fry it on low, 5 minutes a side.
you cook it in the frying pan, the same place as the chips.
