It depends on how loyal you are at changing your oil. Do you change your oil every 3,000 miles? If so you can wait to do it every 40,000-50,000 miles. If you are not so good at changing your oil and you use cheap oil then they recommend every 30,000 miles. It will run you $50 to $120.
I do it every year.
Often
Recommended every 25,000 miles
100K miles transmission oil flush & change.
The pulse generator on the Accent is not internal. Take the black plastic cover off your transmission, which is on the bottom left. There is one blue? switch attached to wires coming out of the transmission which can be safely taken apart and its connectors cleaned. This often solves shifting problems, at least for a while. Follow these wires and you'll come to the pulse generator, a silver device, also on the left of the car.
25000 km depending on how often you drive it , or 160 000 km if you drive it like an old man.
Be more specific, Are you talking about the transfer case, transmission, or front differential?
Oil pans on all cars are located on the bottom of the engine. Often a square shape with a distinctive bolt that sits diagonal on the corner of the oil pan.
Usually I change every 5000km 2 litre & flush every 20,000km 8-10 litre
He had a somewhat English accent that was often laughable to others
Most often hard shifting can be fixed partially by a transmission flush and change of automatic transmission filter. Also, i have had luck with using a large magnet on the bottom of the transmission pan before the flush because parts of the clutches that are loose will not be filtered by a clogged filter. Also, on my grand am, the transmission fluid was dangerously low when i went to change it when first buying the car- this could also be a possible problem.
