It depends on how loyal you are at changing your oil. Do you change your oil every 3,000 miles? If so you can wait to do it every 40,000-50,000 miles. If you are not so good at changing your oil and you use cheap oil then they recommend every 30,000 miles. It will run you $50 to $120.
