unfortnately you have to become hired from a medical facility/employer related to healthcare or consulting first. If you are selected/or you specifically request it, they then will sponsor you to go to the EPIC Facility in the Midwest to become EPIC certified(which will have to be renewed annually or every 2 years, via internet). The initial courses are 4-8 weeks on a "college-like" campus.
