Its not hard, all you do is take out your ash tray there are a few star screws in there, then take out your radio (you'll need a special tool if its the factory, advance has it) then losen two more start screws holding the plactic in, then gently pull up on the plastic till all the clips are off this should give you access to the plugs in the back that you'll have to unplug one by one finally pull off the whole piece (you'll have to move your shifter to neutral in an auto to get by it) take out the 4 star screws holding it in and then put everything back together backwards... Not as hard as it seems
Why are you replacing the switch? If the fan works only on high speed, replace the fan resistor. There was a TSB for this.

get a pocket knife or something sharp and pry up on switch, it just pops up then unplug wire and replace switch then push down to reinstall switch very simple as I just put in 2 of them in less than 5 mins.
