YOU SHOULD NOT WIRE SUCH COMPONENT, IT IS A DANGEROUS PART OF THE VEHICLE, IT SHOULD BE PREWIRED AND YOU SHOULD ONLY USE FUEL PUMP FOR THAT SPECIFIC YEAR.... YOU MAY CHANGE UPGRAGE OTHER FEATURES, BUT NOT RECOMMENDED TO MESS WITH FUEL COMBUSTIBLE ITEMS....
How do you wire a Pigtail for a Fuel Pump on a 97 Chevy Blazer Thank You EVa
If the inline fuel pump can deliver a constant 9 to 13 psi it should work. Wire it to the original fuel pump wiring harness and mount it as close to the fuel tank as possible.
what color wire is the hot
There is none. You just have to disconnect the power to the fuel pump. The wire is located just above the rear license plate holder. Is there a crash reset switch for the fuel pump?
power for the fuel pump goes through the oil pressure sender so if you loose oil pressure it turns the engine off. Look at the oil pressure sender and the wire for it.
The Chevrolet Lumina fuel pump is powered by the electrical system. The fuel pump has a ground wire and a positive wire. The positive wire goes to the fuel pump relay switch.
My first thought is that the fuel pump is going bad and is drawing too many amps, second would be a wire grounding against metal.
drop the gas tank you will see the electric wire and fuel lines disconnect these take screwdriver oeck the holder to open position remove fuel pump sets there remove replace sam,e way
Wire incorrectly, clogged fuel filter, loose or corroded wires, blown fuse, or defective fuel pump relay. And possible, but very rare, a defective computer.
No. Only one wire should have power, the other is the ground.Type your answer here...
that can be because of the fuel pump relay,a severed wire to the fuel pump or the fuel pump fuse is blown.
This would depend on how big your fuel pump is, every fuel pump is diffrent.
