Is there anything that an American-born woman should understand about aetheist Turkish-born Men other than the obvious political differences?

The Atheist part has no answer, that is a religious and political perspective, Atheists are similar everywhere I suppose. As for Turkish born men, Turkish men are traditionally the smooth talking Mediterranean lover. Keep in mind, the "womanizing" and ""innocent" flirtingTurkish men do is never to be questioned, or brought up. It is his male right, and an expression of his virility. Turkish men are all different according to his religion, place of birth, familial upbringing. There are no complete generalizations, but keep in mind, sometimes men are more prized in Turkish society. Then again so are men in the United States, Latin America, Canada, Europe, Asia and Africa. Unfortunately, we live in a mans world. Women who are more sexually expressive and very certain of their ownsexualneeds and desiresshould be aware that some Turkish men see this as "prostitute" behavior, and will lose respect for you. This is a result of centuries of indoctrination. A women who guards who sex and plays the coy game will often will the soul of a Turkish man. I am not certain what part of America you are from, but I often have seen many problems with American (US, Latin America, Canada...) women and Turkish men, for some reason the two butt heads like none other. American women are taught or socialized to be more sexually assertive, boistorous, rowdy and loud, these are all trouble spots for the average Turkish male ego. Turkish men often find better partnerships withAsian (East, South, West) and naturally, Turkish women. Women who are aware of the game that must be played with Turkish men. Yes, my dear friends, there is a game! Never make your self too available, too asertive, nor make advancements, buy them presents (until after a relationship is established), be coy or "naz" and attend to your own life and duties. An unavailable woman is the most endearing to them... Turkey herself is a strange paradigm...no one complete answer to anything...good luck.
