That sounds exactly like what happens when your fan belts are loose! I had this happen to my 1991 D-21 it was the steering Idler pully bearing! It did fail and I lost my Power Steering!!! It drove me crazy for a very long time!!!
have your brakes checked
spray wd40 in the clutch where the bearings are, they are probably a little rusty. do that a couple of times until noise stops, be careful not to get any on the pulley and belts.
Perhap throw-out bearing need lubrication
the fan belt needs tighteneing
you might need a new belt I've got a old jeep that needs one and it squeals when you get up into higher rpms
that probably is your first period, or the start of it. If you have had unprotected sex though you should get checked out.
Check that the fan belt is tight.
1989 Nissan Sentra Wagon 5 Speed intermittently wants to die out. Unless I give it gas it will stall. It will start back up again, with the same problem until problem stops. No pattern to diagnose.
replace the cooling system in the car. clogged fuel line. could be stuff in gas tank. when it stops, start taking fuel lines apart!
Mine comes on periodically too, and then the engine wont start. If you sit tight for about 5 - 10 minutes until the light stops flashing, the engine will start right up.
Turn the key to "on" and let it sit for approx 10 minutes until the 'security' light stops flashing. Turn to off and start as normal.
