Best Answer

The Computer Monitors the outside temperature through the sensor and will not activate the a/c when the temperature reading is too cold. It is not an expensive part but shop labour can be expensive. With the sensor replaced and reading proper the a/c function should return to normal. Hope this helps. "G"

Air temperature sensor important?

An air temperature sensor in an automobile is very important. The temperature sensor detects the external temperature. The external temperature is important because of the manner in which the car's computer mixes air and water.

Why are enzymes damaged by high temperature?

Because they function at low temperature

Does a burning candle maintain homeostasis?

yes, because if the external temperature changes to a cooler temperature, the lit candle flame gets smaller.

Did Roman empire fall because of internal problems or external problem?

Roman civilization feel because of internal problems.

Where would a thermistor be used in an electrical current?

A thermistor could be used to measure temperature, because its resistance is a function of its temperature. By the same reasoning, a thermistor could be used to temperature compensate a circuit. The best example of this is in the regulator, where the ambient temperature controls the charge voltage, because charge state in a battery is a function of temperature.

Because you should look in your book

Why is the temperature important in regulating mechanisms in organisms?

Homeostatic regulation of our core body temperature is important because the enzymes that perform metabolic reactions will function less effeciently and eventually cease to function if not kept at the proper temperature(37 C)

What is the root of the function in the math problem f of x?

f(x) = ...f is the name of the function, and x is the variable. I guess you could say x is the root of the function, because it is what the function relies on.

Are fish different from mammals in that they are ectotherms?

Yes. Fish are ectothermic, commonly referred to as 'cold blooded', because their body temperature depends on their external environment. Mammals are endothermic, or warm-blooded because they can maintain their body temperature.

Why does your temperature gauge work on a Ford Focus?

Because car manufacturers design their products to function.

Why is it important to maintain a constant body temperature?

It's important to maintain a constant body temperature because the enzymes in our body function at certain temperatures.

Why use LMTD and not mean temperature difference?

Because the temperature change that occurs across the heat exchanger from the entrance to the exit is not linear, and a logarithmic function best describes this temperature change.

Why is body temperature regulation a problem in premature infants?

Body temperature regulation is a problem in premature infants because they lack sufficient body fat for insulation. Also, the hypothalamus is not yet fully functional.

Abs light on all of the time?

The ABS light is on because there is a problem with the ABS. The ABS will not function when the light is on. The light will remain on until the problem is fixed.

this is the anser because the external water concentration is greater because the external salt concentration is less

What is denaturation?

Denaturation is the process by which proteins lose their structure and function because of an outside factor, such as a change in temperature or pH.

Why intrinsic semiconductor acts as an insulator at 0K?

Because at this temperature the covalent bond become stronger which can't be broken by applying external forces(voltage).

What is the difference between normal function and static function in c plus plus?

A static class function can only access static members of the class, because there is no implicit "this" parameter. A static non-class function, at file scope, only has visibility at file scope, i.e. it has no external linkage.

What function does the word because serve?

The word "because" is a conjunction that indicates the reason for something happening, for example, "The temperature is cold because I forgot to turn the heat on." This sentence uses "because" to show why it is cold.
