im having the same problem....a piercing screeching sound when u turn the car on or pull off from a red light. i waas told it was the alternator belt. either it needs to be tightened or loosened or even changed. then if that doesnt work it might be your tension that pulls the belt. so have your alternator belts checked. hope this is helpful!
Probably wear indicator on brake pads Replace pads
Either warped rotors or drums can cause pulsating. Apply the parking brake slowly while going about 15mph and see if t pulsates. If it does, it is the drums that need turning. If not, it is the rotors that need turning.
If they are warped, they need to be turned, if they are groved, they need to be turned. If they are glazed, they need to be turned. In general, if you are working on the brakes, they need to be turned. If they are too thin (not wide enough across) to be turned, they need to be replaced. Many newer rotors are not thick enough to be turned, so you just replace them every time you replace the brakes. Most auto parts retailers will measure the thickness of the rotors for you and tell you if they can be turned.
It really needs to be checked out but it doesn't sound good. It probably is ruined as the rings and pistons are probably melted.
yes.glass wool is one of the sound absorbing material while ground glass is not.
No spark .no fuel.
I have a screeching sound in my pick up when it gets up to 2000 rpms. Does not make the noise while idling and starts fine.
It could be the brake pad "squealers". Many brake pads come with a device that will squeal when the pads are worn down and ready for replacement.
Check front pads and brake rotors. You might have to change the pads.
if you are driving and you go to stop, then that means that the front rotors are warped. if the front rotors are bad, you will feel a pulsation in pedal while applying brakes. change rotors on front.
did you have the cv joints checked?
Rotors are warped. Have them trued or replaced as necessary. Also replace the brake pads at the same time.
The loud static radio sound while driving is usually caused by an interruption in service. It usually happens when you drive through a tunnel or a remote countryside.
Is it accompanied by a shuddering or vibration? You could likely have bad brake rotors.
In a "Quiet" Hospital Zone.
IF it is Turbo charged then that would be the turbo.

The drive belt may be slipping or going bad.
