I haven't heard of a movie specifically about separation of male and female students. This practice of educating the sexes separately was common for centuries, and not just in church schools: Prince Charles attended the all-boy Gordounston School, and the late Princess Diana attended an exclusive all-girl finishing school in Switzerland after finishing at her elite all-girl English prep school. Most of the top international schools are all-boy or all-girl. Reason: students concentrate on their studies better with fewer distractions.
