Just a left field idea but did you check the ballast resistor?
AnswerThe ballast may need replacement as this acts as a fuse in the system. You can momentarily jump the ballast to see if it will start. A ballast that keeps going out is sometimes caused by bad spark plug wires. Or secondary voltage jumping from coil tower to primary [ballast side] terminal.
Is Dist. turning? Voltage tester start at one end or the other and make sure there's power. Wire to coil grounded. Pickup in distributer. Electrical is always interesting.
Blower motor located at the passenger side under the dash. Probably the blower motor but you need to check the blower motor resistor and the plug to the resistor. A common cause is the plug tends to melt & short out.
There probably are many reasons, but the only other one I can think of at the moment is a defective ignition coil, which has a "thermal intermitent" [occurs only at and above a certain temperature] which could be either a short, or an open.j3h.

There are two fuse panels, or power distribution boxes. The engine compartment power distribution box is located on the left hand side of the engine compartment above the wheel well, and the central (inside) power distribution box is located under the LH side of the dash, left of the steering column.
