What are sources of vitamin E?
Excellent sources of vitamin E include spinach, turnip greens, and chard. Very good sources of vitamin E include mustard greens, cayenne pepper, sunflower seeds, almonds, bell peppers, and asparagus. Good sources of vitamin E include collards, kale, watercress, tomatoes, cranberries, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, papaya, raspberries, and carrots.
Vitamin E is an antioxidant. Antioxidants prevent aging and are found in most purple foods such as grapes, acai berries, blueberries, and their juices. Some peanut butter has vitamin E in it. If you don't like any of those foods, try taking a once a day complete multivitamin or vitamin E supplement :)
Vitamin C & E act as a anti oxidants. Vitamin C occurs naturally in citrus fruits, peppers, leafy greens, melons and berries. Natural vitamin E, also known as d-alpha tocopopherol, offers powerful antioxidant protection. Nuts, seeds, vegetable oils, wheat germ, apricots and fortified cereals are most reliable dietary sources of vitamin E
Meat contains - Vitamin B1 Vegetarian sources - sunflower seeds, peanuts, wholegrain cereals, beans. Vitamin B2 Vegetarian sources - nuts, green leafy vegetables, wholegrain cereals. Vitamin B5 Vegetarian sources -Peas and beans, wholegrain cereals. Vitamin B6 Vegetarian sources -avocado, bananas, yeast extract, brown rice, black strap molasses. Vitamin B12 Vegetarian sources -cereals, soy milks and yeast extracts fortified with vitamin B12.
Vitamin E is also known as Tocopherol. It is a fat-soluble vitamin that acts as an antioxidant to protect body tissue from damage caused by unstable substances called free radicals. Avocado, Blackberries, Blueberries, Boysenberries, Cranberries, Guava, Kiwi, Mango, Papaya, Peach, Pomegranate, Raspberries, Potatoes, Pumpkin, Almonds, Sunflower Seeds, Eggs, Turkey Bacon, Pinto Beans are the good food sources for Vitamin E.
Walnuts: Contains much omega-3, can prevent Cardiovascular Diseases, contain vitamin E, vitamin B and vitamin B6, lower your cholesterol. Almonds: It contains much calcium, which is good for your bones, nerves and heart muscle. Also it contains iron, magnesium and vitamin E - which enhances blood circulation and concentration.
