This bulletin is being revised to update the parts information. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 01-08-42-05 (Section 08-Body and Accessories)
This bulletin is being issued to inform dealers of the availability of a longer life replacement bulb from GMSPO for the existing rear fog lamp bulb that may have prematurely burned out.
The new rear fog lamp longer life replacement bulb, P/N 22692679, has a trade or standard bulb identifier number of 921LL.
Refer to Fog Lamp Replacement - Rear in the Lighting Systems sub-section of the Service Manual for the replacement procedures.
Parts Information
Parts are currently available from GMSPO.
ther a 912, or 922 bulb. Both are physically similar but one has a higher wattage. Either one will work. I believe I put 912's in mine.AnswerCorrect. Use either the 912 or 922. Do not use the 921:- 912 - 1 watt - MSCP = 12
- 922 - .98 watt - MSCP = 15
- 921 - 1.4 watts - MSCP = 21

the bulb has 2 filaments. One may not be working. Try replacing the bulbs. Or, there is a bare section on the wires that lead to the bulb.
