Rear Fog Lamp Longer Life Replacement Bulb

This bulletin is being revised to update the parts information. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 01-08-42-05 (Section 08-Body and Accessories)
This bulletin is being issued to inform dealers of the availability of a longer life replacement bulb from GMSPO for the existing rear fog lamp bulb that may have prematurely burned out.
The new rear fog lamp longer life replacement bulb, P/N 22692679, has a trade or standard bulb identifier number of 921LL.
Refer to Fog Lamp Replacement - Rear in the Lighting Systems sub-section of the Service Manual for the replacement procedures.

ther a 912, or 922 bulb. Both are physically similar but one has a higher wattage. Either one will work. I believe I put 912's in mine.AnswerCorrect. Use either the 912 or 922. Do not use the 921:The rear fog lights are accessable from under the car. You have to reach up and under the rear bumper.

the bulb has 2 filaments. One may not be working. Try replacing the bulbs. Or, there is a bare section on the wires that lead to the bulb.
Is the bulb out on the 3rd Brake Light? Check bulb, harness attachment and wiring. Most likely its the bulb. See sources and related links below for bulb information.
replace rear tail light bulb
Open the back of your Rav4, on both sides of the back from the inside, there will be a plastic cover over where the brake light would be, gently take that off and you can see the brake lights from there. Just twist the harness that the bulb is in and the bulb should just pop out. Good luck.
possible rear bulb out
I can't located the spark plugs on my 2001 aurora 6v 3.5 engline the plugs are under the gray caps inthe front center of the motor and in the rear center they are a pain to do
To replace the rear brake lights on a Nissan Primera first open the trunk lid. Locate the tail lights and find the plastic cover which hide the bulbs. Remove the cover and then the bulb. Replace with a new bulb.
pull front of rear seat up. remove it and battery is right there
The brake lights and all of the rear lights can be access through the inside back molding in the rear. there are little knobs that you turn to access them.
